⸻I’ve eaten burgers my whole life. I’ve had the remakes, the elevated versions, the chain versions, the trendy ones. But nothing prepared me for what happened when I randomly stopped at Sundae’s.I bit into the cheeseburger and—no exaggeration—it was like being handed the original, like stumbling onto the masterpiece after a lifetime of only seeing mass-produced prints. It was like I’d spent my life eating a shadow of something real, and suddenly, without warning, there it was. The thing that started it all.And the craziest part? No one around me seemed to notice. The staff was friendly and casual, regular folks were eating quietly around me, and I sat there having this low-key epiphany while dipping fries that tasted like memory.It was surreal. Like I’d slipped through a crack in time.This is exactly what anyone who’s ever looked at photos of the original McDonald’s—before the frozen patties, before the automation—imagines their food must’ve tasted like.

I'm not sure why it's so hard to find butterscotch sundaes anymore but they have them here and they are amazing! I didn't try any of the other food on the menu but I heard other people saying it was good!

Such a cute little spot! We noticed it on our way from Lynchburg back to Dinwiddie and had to turn around. We ordered 2 hot fudge sundaes and an Oreo blitzen which was about 15. Went through the drive thru - they were quick to answer the speaker, took our order, and had our ice cream to us in minutes. They did not skimp on the hot fudge! We ate in our car, but they had tables outside with umbrellas and I believe inside seating as well. Would definitely recommend!

Sundae's Restaurant is conveniently located right off of 460. With as drive thru, this place is quick and easy and delicious!!! The milkshakes are worth the drive, I'm try the blueberry!!

I know, half of burger in picture is down right pitiful, Sorryyyy I was hungry as heck!!! I Loved the bacon double burger combo. The meat and were fresh. The workers were awesome and worked diligently. The place was clean. I would recommend, if passing through crewe, va go try it out. The locals will tell you, the burgers are good. But the milkshake was soooooo good! This US Army veteran is very full and very pleased Thanks ladies at Sunday's Restaurant

Excellent customer service!! My food is always fresh and hot!!
